Sun Bin welcomed the arrival of Zhang Yongwei and his delegation, stating that the starting area has set out to build a "3+1" industrial system, with next-generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new energy and new materials industries representing the future development direction. The Hundred-Person Association of Chinese Electric Vehicles, as a high-end think tank in the field of new energy vehicles, possesses rich resources and experience in hydrogen and low-carbon industrial development. Currently, the starting area has signed contracts to introduce the National Energy Investment Group's Yellow River Basin Hydrogen Energy Industry Base project, focusing on key technologies in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, fuel cells, and promoting the demonstration of hydrogen energy in transportation and energy. Moving forward, it is hoped that the Hundred-Person Association of Chinese Electric Vehicles and the Shandong Hydrogen Research Institute will continue to support the development of the starting area, actively promote the demonstration and application of new energy in the area, and work together to advance the overall development of "dual carbon" emissions reduction goals.
Zhang Yongwei stated that China EV100 is a national-level interdisciplinary, cross-industry, cross-departmental, and non-official, non-profit policy and academic research platform in the field of electric vehicles in China. In recent years, they have carried out a significant amount of work in advocating for national policy support, establishing industrial cooperation platforms, introducing high-quality industrial projects, and attracting high-level talent. The starting area adheres to green and low-carbon development as its goal, and China EV100 hopes to continue collaborating with the starting area in the field of new energy and low-carbon technologies, actively assisting the starting area in related initiatives.
