The China EV100 signed a memorandum of cooperation with Agora

On March 27, 2022, the signing ceremony between the China EV100 Hydrogen Center and Agora was held in Beijing. Liu Xiaoshi, the Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the China EV100, and Marcus Stegenberg, the CEO of Agora, delivered speeches. Zhang Zhen, Director of the China EV100 Hydrogen Center, and Tu Jianjun, President of Agora in China, signed a memorandum of cooperation.

 

 

Promoting cooperation between high-end think tanks is a specific measure to implement the consensus between the governments of China and Germany, embrace openness, expand cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. The two sides will aim to create a model of cooperation between Chinese and German high-end think tanks, carry out high-level international exchanges and cooperation, jointly promote research cooperation and industrial cooperation in areas such as hydrogen energy, energy transition, and carbon neutrality, and facilitate the transformation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements in the markets of both countries through the sharing of market information and experiences in relevant fields. By promoting effective coordination of policy, research and development, market, finance, and other elements, a sound industrial ecosystem will be established.

 

 

The German think tank Agora Energiewende, also known as Smart Energy for Europe (SEFEP) gGmbH/Agora Energiewende, was founded in 2012. It is dedicated to providing academically rigorous and politically feasible research outcomes for the clean energy transition in Germany, the European Union, and other regions worldwide. Agora Energiewende serves as the specific implementing organization on the German side for the first and second phases of the China-Germany Energy Transition Cooperation Project.
