The opening ceremony of the seminar was held on the afternoon of the 18th.
Zhang Zhen, head of the Hydrogen Center of China EV100 and president of Shandong Institute of Hydrogen Energy Technology, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Zhang Zhen pointed out that carbon neutral will bring new development opportunities to the western region, which is rich in renewable energy such as solar energy and wind energy. In the next round of economic development, the western region has the opportunity to take green development as the guidance, directly enter the stage of high-quality development, form a good carbon coordination mechanism with the eastern region, and find a path of carbon neutrality in line with China's own characteristics.

The relevant leaders of the institute and the enterprise introduced the development process, core products, technology level and future development direction of the institute and the enterprise based on the carbon neutral background. The students expressed their interest in the low-carbon and new-energy related products and technologies, and put forward their intention for future cooperation.
Subsequently, the trainees returned to Beijing to attend the study and discussion. On the morning of 27th, the completion ceremony of the seminar was held. The trainees spoke highly of the content of the lecture and the visiting enterprises, hoping to promote energy exchanges with China, and recommend relevant cooperation projects to both sides.
